NBR designed and renovated this adorable Edwardian with good bones needing major TLC. The kitchen was closed up in the back of the house, and there was only 1 bathroom. NBR created a family friendly space by opening the kitchen wall to the family room, expanding the guest bathroom into a roomy, comfortable space– and finally, creating a brand new master bathroom off the master bedroom.
Due to the smaller size of the flat, each room needed to be as efficient as possible and designed together as a whole. The kitchen is now open and airy and includes an island large enough to seat 6 guests. It also has a custom-built wood bar perfect for morning coffee by the back window. The owners have since welcomed a new baby to the household and are loving their updated kitchen and their new private master bathroom space!
